Epistemology And Ontology in NLP

Robert Johanssen published a REALLY fresh perspective in The Riggio Model Yahoo Group.

His post can be summed up to one sentence of the post:

So its either something that has a causality link or it just exists.

The basic difference between epistemology and ontology.

Robert goes on the explain how this distinction shifts the “circuitry” of practitioners and how we approach problems. It allows us to frame a particular issue appropriately.

If you haven’t joined the Riggio Model Yahoo Group yet, I strongly suggest you do. I gain nothing from this. But you will A LOT. Not everyone knows about it and I can tell you that NLP is headed that way. Get there before the others.

Go read the full post. It’s VERY advanced material. Not for the faint of heart. But we don’t find free advanced resources on the web anymore. It’s one of the last bastions.

See you there.
